Our ‘52 Bowman-style set kicked off in 2023 with the coveted card #1 featuring my favorite image of Mickey Mantle. His best was still ahead of him and his determined face is inspirational. I keep a pack-fresh copy of each card made in our archives and my personal collection. I recently put my set in a binder—all shoebox copies. This is the Pack-Fresh copy from my personal collection. I feel it’s the best copy we’ve been able to make. The right balance of lighting and color with zero distractions and a perfect reverse. A Gem!
