The 1950 Bowman baseball set is a true classic and one of my favorites ever made. They covered just about everybody in an uncluttered style with a great mix of posed action and colorful portraits. On February 17, 1950, the great Satchel Paige was released by Cleveland and he narrowly missed inclusion in the set. Here is one educated guess what that card might have looked like. I did two different ‘50 Bowmans of Paige (one portrait) and liked this one the best. Deep, rich color and exceptional detail. This is the only MINT copy we made.
