The collecting world missed so many Musial cards, there really isn’t a comparison to any other star player. Many of the ‘50 Bowman Cardinals featured a portrait in the home whites against a blue sky. An effort was made with this one to fit that style. There were temptations to do a full body swing with billboards, etc…in the end simple and clean just worked.
