Every couple of years I get the itch to do some of the players I watched play in a familiar but unique format. The Kahns sets (60’s & 70’s) were a huge part of our 2025 “Fabulous Franks Auction”, and we have continued them. Printed in very small quantities (2-4 copies), these are full of wonderful images that have been colorized from grayscale and given a vintage tint. The paper is fantastic. It allows for a gloss that stands up to maintain a brighter and sharper image quality. Of course, no hot dog vendor could afford to produce cards with this precision, but these make a great presentation. The 70’s will feature more action poses as that decade really ushered that in with the higher speed film. The 60’s are fairly dramatic with larger photos and large facsimile autographs!
